Arabic Spelling and Storytelling Competition Award Ceremony:

Please join us on Wednesday May 18-2016 to celebrate your child's success and achievements in Arabic during our World Language Awards Ceremony. The school-wide awards, certificates of achievements, medals, and trophies of the students who placed on Manara Academy Arabic Spelling and Storytelling Competitions will be given to the students. All other students will receive their participation awards for their hard work in their portfolios during their class awards ceremony in June.

Arabic Spelling and Storytelling Competition Award Ceremony:

Please join us on Tuesday May 27-2014 to celebrate your child's success and achievements in Arabic during our World Language Awards Ceremony. The school-wide awards, certificates of achievements, medals, and trophies of the students who placed on Manara Academy Arabic Spelling and Storytelling Competitions will be given to the students. All other students will receive their participation awards for their hard work in their portfolios during their class awards ceremony in June.

The guidelines:

· The students will be reading for fluency (it is not a comprehension test) for 4 to 5 minutes.

· The judges will write down the mistakes in harkat, punctuation, coma, period, and question mark.

· Body language or tone is important specially when there is a question.

· The flow and speed of reading is important.

· The reading selection will be sent home. Please help your child practice.

· All participants will receive 100% in participation grades.

· Certificates and prizes will be awarded for the winners.
